Applying for Degrees, Certificates, and Transfer Certification
You must apply to earn certificates, degrees and transfer certification.
How to Apply
Students are strongly encouraged to meet with a counselor before completing their Petition to Graduate for BS, ADT, AA/AS, Certificate, and/or IGETC/CSU-GE Certification.
If you are unable to schedule an appointment with a counselor, you may submit a Petition to Graduate online through your . However, submitting your Petition to Graduate without seeing a counselor may require additional time for a counselor to review your petition.
If you are a member one of a Special Programs below, visit your program for assistance in completing a Petition to Graduate.

Processing Time for Degrees & Certificates:
The evaluation of graduation petitions (approved by a counselor) begins after grades are run at the end of the term. Please allow approximately two months from the end of the term for evaluations to be completed and for degrees, certificates, and certifications to be posted on your transcript. Please allow an additional two months to receive your printed certificates and/or diplomas.
